Putting a TV in front of a window is okay.

However when watching the TV with the sun shining it could cause glare on the TV picture so you would want to keep the curtains or blinds closed to prevent the sun from glaring the picture.

I would recommend putting the TV away from the window though and mount the TV on the wall with a TV wall mount which looks nicer and frees up floor space.

When mounting a TV on the wall in your bedroom you should mount the TV at a height of 4 to 5 feet which is a good height.

Too high of a TV height could make it hard to watch the TV.

I have my TV mounted on the wall above my dresser and the TV is mounted 1 foot above the dresser which is a good height for me.

My dresser is about 3 feet high and so I have my TV mounted about 4 feet off the floor which is a good height.

Yes it's good to put a TV on the wall in the bedroom.

I love having my TV on the wall above my dresser although I used to just have the TV sitting on the dresser but having the TV mounted on the wall above the dresser makes the TV look better.

Also it frees up space on the dresser for other things and makes the room less cluttered.

Putting a TV on the wall even in the living room makes the living room look much neater and cleaner and nicer.

In my living room I have my TV on the wall and then have floating shelves below it and near it to give the room a nice look.

Then it's easy to clean the floor beneath it and makes more room for my toddler to play around on the floor.

The living room looks like a new living room when I put the TV on the wall.

A TV placed in front of a window is not a good idea for many reasons. The first one is that light coming from the window will affect the contrast and quality of the picture on the TV. Secondly, glare from sunlight will make it difficult to see what is happening on screen.
