Cypress trees do grow in swamps.

The swamps are the best places for cypress trees to grow and it's the perfect growing conditions for the cypress tree.

Cypress trees such as the bald cypress tree which is a native tree to the Southeastern United States.

The bald Cypress Tree grows mainly in the Mississippi Valley drainage basin, along the Gulf Coast, and up the coastal plain to the mid-Atlantic states.

Although some other Cypress trees may also grow in those areas as well.

If you see a swamp you're likely to see a Cypress Tree.

Cypress Trees may grow in other places without growing in a swamp but Cypress Trees are most commonly grown in swamps.
