When you pull up your own credit score to check the credit score you shouldn't lose any points on your credit score.
About the only time you should see a decrease in your credit score is when you apply for a credit card or other loan and they do a hard inquiry checking your credit rating to see if you're a good risk for the loan or credit card.
The hard inquiry should drop off your credit rating within 6 months to a year. But just checking your own credit score shouldn't affect your credit score or credit rating.
