Banks only close on Holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving and other Holidays that are Federal Holidays.
Most banks will be open on Election day since it's not observed as a Holiday.
Election Day is not a holiday and is just when the Presidential Election takes place.
So banks and even the USPS are still open and operating on Election Day.
