The cost of a truckload of water varies on the amount of water you order but the average water tanker holds about 9,000 gallons of water.

If you order about 9,000 gallons of water from a water delivery service then the cost for the 9,000 gallons of water is around $375.00 which is pretty expensive.

I pay around $1.50 per 1,000 gallons of my city water through my water meter and so if I were to need 9,000 gallons of water from my water hose to fill a swimming pool etc then it would only cost me $13.50 for that same amount of water.

So it's cheaper to use water from your water meter than to have a truck load of water brought in.

I was quoted the $375.00 for water of 9,000 gallons to fill a swimming pool with and decided against it because that was too much money.

Although it was slower filling the swimming pool with my garden hose it was much cheaper and well worth the wait.
