Why is not wearing a seat belt illegal?

By not wearing a seat belt, who are we harming besides our self? 
If you're not harming anyone else, and it's still illegal, why not make slitting your wrists illegal? 

It should be my choice to wear a seat belt or not. And the police should be out catching real criminals such as murderer's bank robbers, child abusers etc. 

Seriously if I don't care that I die in a car wreck then let me chose that.

Most people think that it's illegal because the police care about you making it out alive in a wreck.

But it's mostly a money grab thing. It's violates our human rights to be forced to wear a Seat Belt.

Here the ticket is only $10.00 so I'll take the chance.

Seat belts can also harm you as well.

It's my right to not wear a seat belt and I'll take the chance.
