What happens to your body when you get shot is that your body starts bringing more blood to your core which causes you to bleed more.

If the bleeding is not stopped then you can easily bleed to death really fast so it's important to get the bleeding to stop.

Bullets travel at a speed of 900 miles per hour which is very fast.

If you get shot in the head you lose consciousness and possibly die instantly or suffer brain damage and will be on a life support machine until you die or luckily recover but you'll still be brain damaged.

If you get shot in the stomach, back etc you can bleed to death and also have severe pain until you do die or if you get prompt medical attention you may survive.

Getting shot in the let may cause infection but you rare die if you get shot in the leg although it's very painful to get shot in the leg.

Getting shot no matter where you get shot at in the body is painful and sometimes getting shot means instant death and other times you may linger awhile and die a slow painful death if you do not get prompt medical attention.

When you get shot you can bleed and then bleed to death.

You can survive being shot in the stomach as long as the bullet does not go any further and damage other organs or your spine or nerves.

Being shot in the stomach is less serious than being shot in the heart, the head etc.

But even if you get shot in the stomach you need medical attention right away to be able to hopefully survive and the longer you wait for medical treatment the less chance you have at surviving.

There have been people who have died when being shot in the stomach because they did not get medical treatment right away.

But there have been several people who have survived getting shot in the stomach but medical treatment is needed.

Also there have been people who have luckily survived being shot in the head and heart as well but they were really lucky and had medical treatment which saved their lives.
