Debt collectors can come to your house and try to collect a debt if the debt is large enough.

I once had a debt collector come to my house to try and collect a debt but I told him that we had already made arrangements over the phone to pay back the debt which we did.

But this debt collector was so into collecting debts that he just had to come to my house and was saying that he wanted to take my car, house etc.

But he didn't have a court order to do so.

He was just trying to scare me.

Most debt collectors will not come to your house especially if the debt owed is a small amount but even for larger amounts of debts the debt collector has to first take you to court, sue you in court and win a judgement again you.

Then the debt collector if ordered by the court can show up with the police and seize your car, house etc.

Don't let a debt collector scare you into giving up your things or scare you without a court order.

Hello. I think it depends on details and how it is done, and more to the point the time of the day. There are special laws and many people don't know them. You should get consultation from a lawyer to know how to protect yourself. I had problems with Credit Control company but with legal help we solved all issues.

Debt Collectors can come to your house but most times the debt collector will only contact you by phone and then take you to court and sue you in court if the amount you owe on the debt is enough.

Hello, there are simple options to reduce the debt burden in the pre-trial order. They can be resorted to at the first prerequisites for a deterioration in the financial condition, without waiting for delinquency on loans. There are special companies that provide such services, for example, you can read Pacific Debt Customer Reviews to make sure that many people really managed to write off their debt.
