Yes hand sanitizer does kill viruses and germs on your hands.

The alcohol helps to kill off the viruses and germs and hand sanitizer is usually more effective at killing viruses and germs than regular soap and water.

However you still should wash your hands often with antibacterial soap and hot water when possible because the germs and viruses will not only be killed but they will also be washed away down the drain.

Also the hand sanitizer leaves a residue on your hands and then you eat something with your hands the hand sanitizer can be transferred to the food and make it taste bad.

That has happened to me.

So make sure before you eat something with your hands to wash the hand sanitizer off your hands.

Viruses can grow some when in a host such as in a persons body.

However the viruses do not grow much and they cannot grow without being inside a body to thrive.

Viruses are really tiny and can only be seen through use of a microscope and when they get into a body they can then cause illness and attack the body and then multiply.

Then when you sneeze or cough the viruses can come out through tiny droplets that can then enter someone else's body.

So make sure you cover your mouth when coughing and sneeze into a tissue or your arm when possible.

Scientists have revealed that viruses do have a form of intelligence because the viruses know how to get into a body and how to infect the body.

Viruses don't have an actual brain or brains like humans and other animals do and they certainly are not as smart or intelligent as most humans are but viruses do show some intelligence.

Viruses are not considered by scientists and medical professionals to be living things.

Although our body kills off and fights off the viruses and disinfectants kills the viruses on surfaces so in a way the viruses would be living things.

However the viruses are not living things like humans, dogs and other animals are but instead the viruses are made up of protein.

Viruses cannot do anything or multiply unless they get into and reside inside a living body such as a human or other animal.

Without the human body or other living thing the viruses cannot doing anything since viruses are made of complicated assemblies of molecules, including proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and carbohydrates, but on their own they can do nothing until they enter a living body.

The viruses will not be able to reproduce without a host.
