No brain tissue does not regenerate or have the ability to regenerate.
Unlike the bodies liver, skin and some other organs that can regenerate and repair themselves depending on the damage the brain cannot regenerate any brain tissue once it's damaged.
Tissue structures and new connections, blood vessels etc cannot be regenerated in the brain nor can the brain tissue be regenerated once it's damaged.
However brain tissue that is dead is absorbed, which leaves a cavity devoid of blood vessels, neurons or axons which is the thin nerve fibers that project from neurons.
I wish it were possible for brain tissue to regenerate but sadly it cannot.
But thankfully other parts of the body can regenerate which is a good thing.
