In most places you can register a motorcycle in your name without a motorcycle license.
To register a motorcycle in your name you will need proof of motorcycle insurance along with your regular drivers license if you have one.
You can sometimes register a motorcycle without a regular drivers license as well but having the regular drivers license does help to prove your identity when registering the motorcycle in your name.
