A perfect road trip would be a road trip across the USA.
I have never done it yet but do take around 500 to 1,000 mile road trips in the spring and summer months.
In the next few years I want to take my travel trailer with me and go to every state in the USA and take around a year to do it.
You could road trip through every state in less than a year but I won't be in a hurry to do so.
If you want to take a road trip through every USA state and back to your home then you should plan at least a 13,699 mile road trip.
That can take around 4 months to complete depending on how often you stop.
