No the good news is that WIFI does not attract lightning.

Lightning wants to find the shortest path to the ground and since your modem and or internet router is inside your house then the lightning cannot strike the modems or routers WIFI antenna.

If the WIFI antenna was outside then it might get struck by lightning but it's not because of the WIFI itself but instead the antenna.

You can safely use your laptop, desktop, tablet, phone etc outside even during the lightning storm and it will do no harm to you.

Now if the lightning struck the WIFI modem through the wiring then it could fry the internet modem or internet router and if you have things plugged directly into the modem or router then those things can also be fried and harmed.
