Once you wake up from sleep it can take 30 minutes to an hour before your body is able to fully wake up.

So you might still feel tired and not fully awake for an hour or even 2 hours after you get up and out of bed.

That is normal but if you take sleeping pills or other sleep medicine then they can make you feel groggy and tired even all day.

So when taking sleeping pills your body may not fully wake up and you still may feel tired and want to sleep.

But if you're not taking sleeping pills or other sleeping medicines then your body should be fully awake within 30 minutes to 2 hours.

When I wake up in the morning I lay in bed for a few minutes before getting up.

If I get up too soon I still feel a little tired and weak.

I just allow my eyes to adjust and my body to adjust and then I get up, take a shower and then within an hour I'm fully awake and ready to start the day.
