How long can bed wetting in children last?

My 5 year old has started to wet the bed. How long should bed wetting last in children and is there anything I can do to help my child stop wetting the bed?

Bed wetting can last up until your child turns 15 or can even be life long.

But most kids stop wetting the bed between 10- 15 years old. Bed wetting doesn't always mean something is wrong but it can't hurt to have the child checked out just in case.
