The fear of ones own death is called Thanatophobia.
Thanatophobia which is the fear of ones own death is the anxiety that some people experience when they think about their own death and the process of dying.
Although we cannot stop death and it will all happen to us it's normal for some people to fear death.
Going to therapy can sometimes help with the fear of death but not everyone will be cured of the fear of death and that's okay.
I don't fear death itself but what I do fear is the actual process of dying and fear how my death will occur.
When I die I hope it's just in my sleep without any pain and very quick.
But death itself does not scare me.
