Most Trial Lawyers work around 8 hours per day which is 40 hours per week.

That is about normal working hours for most jobs however some Trial Lawyers may need to work 10 to 12 hours per day depending on the workload.

The longer hours you work the more income you will make.

But most Trial Lawyers will work a minimum of 8 hours per day 5 days per week which is 40 hours per week.

The average annual salary for a Trial Lawyer is between $60,000.00 to $66,000.00 per year.

That's a pretty good salary but really not that great for all the work you have to do and having to go to Trial to defend your defendant.

Plus all the paperwork that has to be done.

In some places a Trial Lawyer may earn as much as $150,000.00 but most Trial Lawyers earn only $66,000.00 or less per year.

Private Trial Lawyers will make more money per year than a public defender trial lawyer would.

So if you want to be a Trial Lawyer it's best to be a private Trial Lawyer and not a public defender.
