The amount of money that you can sue someone for pain and suffering depends on how severe your injuries were or are and how much time you lost at work.

Or if you were in a car accident and were completely paralyzed and unable to work anymore then the pain and suffering lawsuit would get you more money.

That is especially true if you were in a car accident and a company truck hit you as the company trucks and companies carry large insurance policies that can pay out a lot of money in the event of an at fault car accident with the company vehicle.

If you just got hit by a person in their vehicle and not a company vehicle and you just suffered some injuries then you may be able to sue for the amount of $5,000.00 to as much as $10,000.00

Keep in mind though that a lawyer will take a percentage of that money so you won't get all that money but you will get some.
