A healthy persons urine is sterile and at least 95 percent water so drinking urine in a survival situation can help you survive and can hydrate you and replace any lost water.
You can usually safely drink your own urine for up to 2 to 3 days to survive before the urine becomes toxic and causes more problems than it helps.
If you have access to some water from a lake or creek then it's best to drink that water instead of your urine.
Urine should only be drank to stay hydrated as a last resort when you have no other options for fluid intake.
If you can find water from a lake etc then drink that instead.
I've drank water from creeks, streams, lakes and ponds etc and never have I had any health issues from it.
The water from creeks, streams, lakes and ponds is likely healthier and cleaner and safer to drink than city water that has chlorine and other chemicals in it.
