When you get bitten by a centipede you can experience pain and swelling at the centipede bite.
A Centipede bite usually causes pain and the swelling and redness for around 48 hours and after 48 hours the swelling, pain and redness usually goes away without any medical treatment.
However if you're experiencing an allergic reaction to the centipede bite then seek medical attention.
Some people who are bitten by centipedes experience side effects such as skin necrosis, local bleeding, headache, heart palpitations, vomiting and nausea and swollen, painful lymph nodes in the regions of the bitten limb.
Most times the centipede bite just causes pain and swelling and is nothing to worry about but if you seem to get worse them seek medical treatment just in case you might be allergic to the centipede.
