The larger tanker trucks that carry gasoline hold around 11,000 gallons of gasoline which is a lot of gasoline.

The smaller tanker trucks holds around 3,000 gallons of gasoline.

Larger tanker trucks usually deliver gasoline to larger and more populated cities with more and bigger gasoline stations.

Smaller tanker trucks deliver usually to smaller gas stations in smaller towns.

A larger gasoline station may order and have delivered 11,000 gallons of gasoline per month or even sometimes more often.

A smaller gasoline station may only order 3,000 gallons of gasoline per month or at one time.

Smaller gas stations have less demand for gasoline so they do not sell as much gasoline while larger gas stations are usually selling out of their gasoline pretty quick and need more deliveries.
