Yes many quails including the bobwhite quail eat ticks.
Quails not only feed on ticks but also on other things such as as beetles, grasshoppers, caterpillars, spiders etc.
That makes quails a good species to hang around parks and other areas where ticks are because the tick infestation will be lowered because the quails will eat the ticks for food.
That way they naturally get rid of ticks in yards.
My Grandma kept quails as pets at her farm and she never had much of a tick problem as she used to let the quails roam free on the 50 acre farm she had.
I never got ticks on me when I was around her farm as a kid but other places I did get ticks.
