Credit card information can only be stolen from your pocket or purse or wallet through an RFID reader if you have a credit card with the RFID chip on it.

Then in that case if you have the RFID chip credit card and someone has an RFID reader they can skim or steal the credit card information from your pocket or anywhere else as long as they are close enough without even touching the credit card.

So credit cards with the RFID chip are actually less secure than credit cards without them.

You can also buy a wallet that blocks the RFID waves where it cannot get to your credit card to steal the information.

I've seen those wallets online and on TV but since I don't have a credit card with the RFID chip in it I don't have one of those wallets.
