Yes snakes do reproduce quite quickly and much quicker than humans or other animals do.
A female snake can give birth to it's babies in as little as 30 to 45 days after they mate and have sex with the male snake.
So it doesn't take too much time after the snakes mate and have sex before the female snake becomes pregnant and gives birth to the baby snakes.
Snake sex or snake intercourse takes about an hour and the male snake inserts his two sex organs into the female snake, the hemipenes, which then extend and release sperm.
Then in 30 to 45 days the female snake can be ready to give birth to the baby snakes.
