In the entire world there are an estimated 200,000 wolves still alive and living well in the world.

In the United States 5,000 of those wolves live in the lower 48 states of the United States, while between 7,000 and 11,000 live in Alaska.

So far Wolves are not really endangered as a species but they could become endangered years from now.

There are many more new baby wolves being produced every year that it would likely be 100 years or more before the wolves become endangered and we loose most of them or even all of them.

There are some certain species of wolves that are more endangered than others but wolves right now are not endangered enough to be a concern.
