A court arraignment hearing is a court proceeding during which a criminal defendant is formally advised of the charges against him/her and is asked to enter a plea to the charges.

You either plead guilty or not guilty at the arraignment hearing and if you plead guilty at the arraignment hearing then you'll be likely sentenced.

It's hard to get the charges dropped against you at an arraignment hearing and if you do get any charges dropped at an arraignment hearing it would need to be done through an attorney.

If you've committed a serious enough crime then it's very unlikely that the charges are gonna be dropped at any hearing including an arraignment hearing.

If it's a less serious crime then if the person you've committed the crime against drops the charges then they could.
