How do you tether a laptop computer to a cell phone to use the cell phones internet connection as a wifi hotspot?

If your cell phone is an android phone then you can download a tethering app from google play.

Then you just run the app and then connect to your android phone just like you would with your wifi router.

But be sure your cell phone company allows tethering as some block tethering and some can shut your service off if your caught tethering if they forbid tethering in their TOS.
