Inchworms are not dangerous to humans or harmful to humans if they come into contact with you.
But inchworms are pests and can destroy and are destructive to crops and considered a pest by many farmers and organic gardeners.
The Inchworms are also destructive to pines, fruit trees, garden plants, and vegetable crops when infesting in them.
So if you have gardens, fruit trees, crops etc and inchworms are inhabiting those places then you need to get rid of the inchworms before they destroy your crops, gardens, fruit trees etc.
However if they are not bothering things then they are not harmful to humans and can be left alone.
