A year in county jail has got to be a very boring and bad experience and the year would likely seem like 5 years or more even though the year goes by the same speed as it does when you're not in jail.

Jail is boring, degrading and it is very depressing and you have to sleep on a thin mattress and get up at a certain time, eat bad food, sit in the day room if you're allowed too and watch some boring TV or play some board games.

The seconds drag on like minutes and the minutes drag on like hours and it's very boring.

I haven't spent a year in jail but I did spend a month in jail years ago when I was 18 for speeding.

That month in jail gave me a wake up call and I never want to see a jail again.

Spending a month in County Jail sucks big time and that month in County Jail will drag by and seem like a year or longer.

When I was 18 I went to jail for a month for speeding tickets and it's lucky I got off on just one month and then some community service.

That month alone in county jail which was so boring and dragged on made me stop speeding forever and it taught me a lesson.

I never want to spend even another night in jail.

A month seems to go by fast when you're not in jail but when you get booked into jail and spend your first night in jail the night even seems so long because for me it was hard to even get sleep.

Then the days dragged on and seemed like months and the month seemed like at least a year.

I could not imagine spending a year or more in jail as that has got to be worse.
