bmw e90 mass air flow sensor location?

On the BMW e90 where is the mass air flow sensor located?

I've looked around and cannot seem to find the mass air flow sensor on the BMW e90.

The mass air flow sensor on the BMW e90 is located near the air filter housing on the driver's side of the engine.

The BMW e90 mass air flow sensor is held in place with two screws and is very straightforward to replace as you just remove the screws and unplug the mass air flow sensor.

Then pull the old mass air flow sensor out and then put the other one back in place and plug it back in and put the screws back in.

If you need a new mass air flow sensor for a BMW check ebay because my dad has a BMW and the auto parts store wanted way too much for the mass air flow sensor.

He bought a mass air flow sensor for his BMW on ebay for around $20.00 while the auto parts stores wanted over $100.00 for the same part.

A bad MAF sensor can cause too much fuel to be left in the combustion chamber, creating untimed detonations.

You'll experience this as poor drive ability such as hesitations or sudden jerking motions, particularly during acceleration.
