After you post bail to be released from jail it can take 4 to 6 hours for the paperwork to be processed and then you'll be released from jail.

Sometimes if they are not as busy you might be released within an hour or less but expect to wait at least 6 hours to be released from jail after you post bond yourself or when a bail bondsman bonds you out of jail.

If the court orders you released from jail it can also take another 4 to 6 hours to get released from jail because the jail and court have to ensure paperwork is done correctly.

Then they can release you and during that time you can usually be getting your regular clothes and shoes back on and get your belongings back.

And you can call for a ride home etc then after 4 to 6 hours you should be able to walk out the jails doors.
