The ink from markers and ink pens is non toxic when applied to your skin in small amounts and will not cause any health issues including cancer.

However it is possible to get ink poisoning if you happen to soak your skin in ink from markers and skin but it would take a lot of ink to absorb into your skin and bloodstream for that to happen.

There's no harm in drawing on yourself and your skin from ink pens or markers and you will not get skin cancer from the markers or ink pens.

I used to draw on myself as a kid with ink pens and markers and nothing bad happened to me.

I used to take notes in class on my arm and hands as well with ink pens and sometimes permanent marker and it never caused me any health issues.
