Yes a parole or probation officer can and will usually come to your house on a regular basis without prior notice in most cases.

If a parole officer or probation officer comes to your house and someone is on parole or probation and they live at the address then you must allow the parole officer or probation officer into the house.

If you fail to let the parole officer or probation officer into the house then you can be arrested.

The parole officer or probation officer will search the premises for illegal substances and items that violate the offender's parole or probation such as guns, drugs etc.

If any violations are found the person on parole or probation will be arrested and may serve more prison time.

You must also contact your parole officer or probation officer when required because if not they will come searching for you and will arrest you when they find you.
