The amount of jail time you can get for being convicted of grand larceny can be between 1 to 20 years in prison.

The maximum amount of prison time you can get for grand larceny is 20 years.

If the grand larceny is your first offense then you might get off with 1 year in prison or 2 years in prison if it's a misdemeanor.

If it's your 2nd offense for committing grand larceny or you're already a felon when you commit the grand larceny or you've been in prison before and are on parole when you commit the grand larceny then you can get 15 to 20 years in prison.

If you're a felon in most states the mandatory term in prison is 1 year and 6 months to 10 years but you can get up to 20 years in prison.
