Is magnetic attraction stronger than repulsion?

Magnetic repulsion and magnetic attraction are similar in strength at least somewhat.

However the magnetic attraction is indeed a bit stronger than the repulsion of the magnet.

Also as the distance of the magnets increases the repulsion and the attraction of the magnets also decreases.

The reason that the magnetic attraction is stronger than the magnetic repulsion is because the closer the two objects are, the stronger the force.

If two things are attracted to each other, they will increase in force as they get closer; whereas, if they are repelling, the force becomes slightly weaker due to the larger distance between the two objects.
