Yes using benzoyl peroxide is very good for treating and getting rid of acne.

The benzoyl peroxide is antimicrobial which helps to get rid of and reduce the amount of bacteria on your skin that causes acne.

So by reducing the amount of the acne causing bacteria you reduce your chances of getting future acne outbreaks when you regularly use the benzoyl peroxide for acne.

The benzoyl peroxide also helps keep the pores in your skin clear from blockages which is another cause of acne outbreaks.

I used to suffer from acne myself and still do somewhat but the regular use of the benzoyl peroxide has kept my skin pretty clear and has really reduced the amount of acne I experience.

Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat acne.

The benzoyl peroxide works as an antiseptic to reduce the number of germs (bacteria) on the surface of your skin.

And benzoyl peroxide is usually one of the first treatments recommended for mild to moderate acne.

Benzoyl peroxide also comes as a gel or face wash containing 5% benzoyl peroxide.

Benzoy peroxide works by decreasing inflammation and killing or preventing the growth of bacteria on your skin.

It belongs to a group of medications called antibiotics.

Despite benzoyl peroxide being effective in exfoliating and removing dead skin cells, excess sebum and acne-causing bacteria, it also peels away the skin in the process.

Benzoyl peroxide, given its potency, can cause mild dryness, erythema, and scaling of the skin.

Benzoyl peroxide is not suitable for some people.

To make sure it's safe for you, tell your doctor before using this medicine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to benzoyl peroxide or any other medicine, have damaged or broken skin where you need to use the treatment.

During the first 3 weeks you are using benzoyl peroxide, your skin may become irritated.

Also, your acne may seem to get worse before it gets better.

If your skin problem has not improved within 4 to 6 weeks, check with your doctor.
