Yes a 14 year old can be arrested and taken to jail.
Well not the regular adult jail but the 14 year old if arrested will be taken to Juvenile Detention which is just another name for a jail designed for minors.
Anyone under 18 that is arrested will be taken to a Juvenile Jail facility that is basically just a jail like regular adult jail but only one that holds those under 18.
You can stay in Juvenile detention until the judge sees you as most times a Juvenile will not be able to bail out of Juvenile detention like an adult would be able to bail out of adult jail.
I've been to Juvenile Detention years ago when I was 12 and I hated it and it made me never want to get into trouble again to get back in there.
I spent 3 months in there and could not get bailed out and it taught me a good lesson.
Juvenile Hall just like regular adult jail is not a place you want to be.
