The legal limit for blood alcohol level in the state of Texas is 0.08 percent.

If a driver tests more than 0.15 percent or more over the legal limit faces jail time, fines and possible prison time as well.

But if you test more than 0.8 percent for your blood alcohol limit then you'll be arrested and taken to jail.

Then after you sober up you can likely bail out but will have a DUI on your record and after so many DUI on your record you'll be having your drivers license suspended.

Then if you get into too many arrests for DUI such as your second or third offense then you could face 10 to 20 years in prison.

If you get into an accident when driving and are over the legal limit for alcohol in Texas or anywhere else and kill someone in the accident you could get 25 years to life in prison.

Never drink and drive because it's not worth the jail time, fines or even the possibility of killing someone or some people.
