I've heard that in some states that game wardens have a bit more power than cops do and can enter your home without a warrant.

But states that actually do that and tell their game wardens they can enter your home without a warrant are doing so illegally by the constitution.

Having to get a warrant to search your home or vehicle is required by the constitution and cops including game wardens legally have to get a search or enter warrant to enter or search your home or vehicle without your permission.

If they do not get a warrant it would violate your rights and if you know the law then the judge would throw the case out easily if the game warden didn't actually have a warrant.

So make sure you know the law before going to court because just because a game warden or state says it doesn't have to have a warrant doesn't make it true or legal.

All law enforcement including game wardens must get and have a warrant with them before they can legally forcefully enter your home without your permission.

That is unless there is an emergency where the police need to enter your home to stop a threat.
