Lawyers working for a client make statements based on what they hear from their client.
So unless the Lawyer was actually involved in what the person is being in court for then there's know way for the Lawyer to knowingly lie in court.
So the Lawyer would not get into trouble for lying for their client unless the court can prove that the Lawyer was knowingly lying in court.
Unlike the clients Lawyers do not typically make statements in court under oath.
A good lawyer would not lie anyway because it would be risking the lawyers license and business which they would not want to risk.
So while a Lawyer could get into trouble for lying if the court could prove it they will most likely not get into trouble for lying in court unknowingly.
