Going hiking for an hour or two per day can help you burn off 500 to 1,000 calories when you hike for 1 to 2 hours and then hike another 1 to 2 hours back.
So by hiking you give your body a good workout and burn off plenty of calories and you can expect to burn off at least 100 calories per 1 mile of hiking.
The further you hike and the more often you hike the more weight you'll lose and yes you can lose belly fat while hiking because I certainly did.
