Most hawks will actually build a new nest and move to the new nest every year but sometimes a hawk will return to the same nest for awhile every year if the nest the hawk previously made is still where they made it.

However the hawk will mostly be at a new nest each year and in a different location.

The female hawk then stays in the nest while the male hawk goes out and finds food for the baby hawks and the mother hawk.

So it's kind of like humans and sometimes the mother human stays home and cares for the kids while the dad goes out and works a job to pay for food and provide for the mother and children.

Although some human mothers do work as well as the father.

But the hawk does all the work for feeding the mother and the baby hawks.
