The amount of eggs that a female hawk lays per year varies depending on the hawk.

But most female hawks lay between 2 to 5 eggs per year and sometimes the hawk may only lay 1 egg in the entire year.

Female Hawks make stick nests high above the ground, in which the female lays the eggs and then both sexes of the hawks will incubate those hawk eggs for around 5 weeks and and also feed the baby hawks from the time they hatch until the time they leave the nest which is about six weeks later.

Female Hawks also usually mate for life and are monogamous.
