A cassette toilet is either a portable toilet or a permanently affixed toilet that is used in RV's and vans that has a portable tank that sits under the toilet that is removable so that you can empty the waste.
It's called a cassette toilet because the tank is inserted into or under the toilet like you would insert a cassette tape in the older days into a cassette player.
