Regular toilet paper can be used safely in a camper but it just doesn't break down as fast in an RV wastewater tank like RV toilet paper does.
I've used regular toilet paper in my RV for years now and it never has been a problem for the RV tanks but if you're worried about the regular toilet paper clogging the RV tank then you can use RV toilet paper.
Although I find that RV toilet paper is more expensive than regular toilet paper and the regular toilet paper works just fine even though people have told me never to do that.
I empty my RV tanks often enough when camping and add the chemical to the RV tank to help break down the waste and never has my RV wastewater tanks clogged up.
