Does Internet speed slow down with more users?

Internet can slow down when more users are using the internet.

For instance if you have WiFi internet and more than one user in your house is using internet service over that WiFi it can cause congestion on your internet line which can cause your internet service to slow down.

Also if a bunch of people in the neighborhood start using more of their internet such as streaming videos, music etc then your internet service can start degrading and slowing down.

The more users the more traffic on the internet service lines which means a slow down of your internet speed.

Yes when more users get on the internet it creates a traffic jam on the internet lines.

The more data going through those internet lines and servers the slower the internet gets.

I notice like now at around 8:38 PM my internet speed starts to slow down which is noticeable when watching streaming movies and show but not noticeable when just browsing the internet or loading webpages.

If more people in your house uses your internet at the same time then that can slow to a crawl as well.
