If you're driving and a police officer pulls you over then the only things you're required to do is hand them your drivers license, proof of insurance and your registration papers.

You can leave the window partially up and lower it just enough to slide your drivers license and insurance and registration papers through.

You have the right to remain silent and do not have to answer any police questions during the traffic stop and it's best to keep silent and just have a minimal conversation with the police.

The police can use anything you say against you in court if they write you a ticket and if you don't know exactly if you were speeding or not or violated any traffic laws then don't tell the cop you knew that you violated those laws.

I just keep my mouth shut and talk very little to the police and let them get what they're doing done so that I can be on my way.
