Banned from adsense before getting approved?

Question

I never had an adsense account. 

I signed up for one yesterday and submitted my site for review. 

Got a response today that said they detected invalid activity on my account and as a result I've been banned?

WTF? Banned from adsense before even getting a chance at having an account with them?

How can my site be generating invalid activity on the ads before I even placed any ad code?

Maybe the domain had previously been banned by adsense?

I wouldn't trust that one. It states google.com is banned from adsense. lol

I doubt adsense banned there own domain from using adsense.

It does seem that the domain you tried to get an account with was banned from the system and adsense rejected it because of that.

Check it using the google sandbox checker. .http://ctrlq.org/sandbox/ if ads show then it's not banned but if they don't show then it's most likely banned.
