It's reported that there are a staggering amount of 5000 bank robberies per year and most of those bank robbers do get caught within a few days to a few months of the bank robberies.
However there are are around 163 to 200 people wanted for bank robberies per year so the majority of those people who do rob bank get caught shortly after the bank robbery.
So that amounts to around 98% of bank robbers are caught with only 2% of the bank robbers getting away with the bank robbery at least for awhile.
It's very unlikely and very hard to get away with bank robbery or any other type of robberies today with all the technology and cameras in place.
Even if the person is successful at the bank robbery they may only get away with a few thousand dollars and at most $4,000.00 so it's not worth it at all.
Bank robbery can get you 15 to 25 years in prison depending on the state and whether or not the person used a weapon in the commission of the robbery.
