The Sahara Desert is pretty warm during the day even in the winter months.

The average high Temperature for January which is considered the coldest month in the Sahara Desert is 54 F.

During the night though the temperatures in the winter months including January can get below freezing but then get warmer again during the day.

So you can have warm day and then a cold night in the Sahara Desert.
